RON CARTER - SUNSHOWER (K.Barron) .wav
d(((👁️___👁️)))b👍💞❣️💕
Ron carter is one of the truly great bassist in all of jazz history. In the class of the great Charles mingus, Richard davis, Reggie workman, Cecil mcbee and Scott lafaro. He is a masterful cellist and a jazz master in every sense of the word.
what a bangerrrrrrrrr
🫀
Thought this was Mos Def / Yasin Bey for a sec. Dope music.
What did I just listen to?
He’s hitting the wrong notes constantly
❤
Anyone else see the Mos def resemblance? Great music.
Mos Def looks a bit like Mr Carter.
So proud and thankful to even be from the same planet as these masters. I’ll go pick up my guitar now, and cry. Kevin
Awwwwwwwe. 😂
Mos Def's dad
Is that an electric bass or just fed through effects.Sounds like a bow being used. Amazing
Is it just me or does he seriously resemble Yasin Bey /Mo's Def. Beautiful composition, thanks for sharing.
There is a likeness indeed. Two exceptional talents, that happen to resemble one another😊
Love that growly amplified tone
Àa
This is Timeless
Damn he looks like Mos Def (Yassin Bey)
Now i know where Sting got his idea for the intro to 'Wrapped around your finger'
THANK YOU! I knew I was thinking of a Sting song but couldn't figure out which one.
wrapped around your finger sound like this
Phenomenal!!!!
first time listening... DIRECTLY SENT TO COSMOS ! I am still shivering, warm shivers
Man Ron looks like Mos Def in this picture lol or vice versa I guess
🤩😍👊🏿🙏🏿😀
This dude favors Mos Def
😮Horrible, repetitivo, monótono, me quedo con sus mejores días con Miles Davis...
This is pure gold jazz...
Awesome! Such a Classic!!!❤
Subscribed !!! Thanks for uploading this cake👌🏾🙏🏿
Hum, delicious 😑😑😑
Respectfully, he looks just like Yasin Bey (Mos Def)
I thought that 0:13 😊 was him.
My thoughts the moment I looked at his picture.
The first time I looked at it I thought to myself Yasin....
Exactly!!!
Casomai e Yasin che assomiglia a Ron, che ha oltre di trent'anni in più 😂😂😂😂

love this. thank you for uploading this.
First heard this recording on KJAZ san Francisco in 1977. Rushed over to tower records and bought the album. Nearly played the album every day, then found through KJAZ one morning his quartet had been booked at Keystone Korner, bee lined over to their box office for a pair of tixs. What a superb and exciting performance they gave to all of us that night! This tune still rolls within my mind to this day.
Very Nice
9:26. Is it..

Beatiful !!!
